    Lounge took months to arrive. Broke the first week. Different parts have been sent back and replaced. One whole section had to be completely reframed. This didn't match the rest of the set. Nearly every section has something wrong with it now except the reframed one. Should have been completely replaced. Not happy at all. Something so poorly made for such an expense.

    Great furniture, nice sales staff. Prices are only slightly cheaper than other stores, long wait times for furniture due to most overseas product. Awesome painting for sale, they hang around the large open store so you get a real feel for the look.

    Paid for couch and told it would take three months. When that was up we called them and said it would be in in 5 days and they would ring, which they did not. 8 days past and heard nothing. We rung again and now they said they dont know where the couch was and they would ring back, which they did not. We let 2 days pass and rung only to get a very rude lady wish i took here name down. She told us its stock take and they dont know where it is and they would ring back. Now we finaly got a call back. Only problem its still on a ship and we will be lucky to get it in 2 weeks. Very poor information they need to inform customers. I understand there could be delays but tell people that its going to be 6 weeks late rather then saying it's lost.

    I purchased a Queen Sienna bedroom suite for $1699, had it delivered at my cost through a contractor, I had no problem with that. Went to put it together, they had delivered a king size bed end. Because I got it delivered on a Saturday, they could not fix this until the following Monday. On the Monday they switched over the products, had no issue. Went to put the bed together on the Thursday, (had to wait as I am by myself and needed assistance.) They supplied me with the incorrect size of side rails. This did not get switched over for a couple of more days. I had finally had enough of sleeping on a mattress on the floor and decided to put together the bed myself. Only this time it was the side rail brackets that did not match up with the brackets on the end of the bed head. I contacted the store, only to be told that a storeman would be out on the Saturday to fix the problem. I explained to them what the situation was and that it could not be fixed and I needed a new bed head. They still proceeded to send out a storeman, Who then was going to re-drill holes only 3mm away from the existing hole to fit the bracket. This is unacceptable. They then said that the bed would be switched over for a whole new bed mid week. I waited, waited, waited and nothing. No contact whatsoever. I sent an email explaining the situation, without reply. The following week I contacted the store again, spoke to one of the ladies at the desk and she insured that everything would be fixed up the following Saturday. Got it delivered today, they picked up the existing one. It has now been four weeks since I initially purchased the suite and it delivered. And once again they delivered the wrong size side rails!!!!!! At this point I'm beyond frustrated. I contacted the store to be told that both king and queen have the same size side rails, they do not. After I spent 10 minutes explaining this to the lady on the other side of the phone (Who mind you, is not accommodating whatsoever) I am then requested to send photos and dimensions. She then tells me that they could not fix the problem at all today (being after 2 o'clock on a Saturday) and would have to wait to Monday. At this point I am livid, she was nothing but rude, kept cutting me off when I spoke and had no compassion at all. No compensation was offered, nothing but a refund and to have someone come to pick the bed up and return it. Which would not be done today and would have to wait until a weekday!!!!!

    I have previously purchased items from John Cootes (elsewhere) and never had a problem. But this time, it was a disaster!
